Fungaia

Fungaia is a fun and interactive art installation that invites you to explore the myriad forms that fungi take as mushrooms, spores and lichen. When you are wandering amongst the trees you will discover some giant wearable fungi 'heads'. Shrink down, get into a different 'head' space and merge into the fungi queendom for a selfie! Each head is lovingly and slowly handmade using repurposed, found and recyclable materials including papier-mache and textiles.Fungaia is a collaboration by artists Clare Parker and Sarah Lawrence whose work invites diverse audiences into close encounters with the more-than-human.
